Why should you eat apples, anyway?

Apples are high in potassium. Potassium is important for proper functioning of the muscles, including your heart.  (Yes, your heart is a muscle!)
Apples are high in fiber. Fiber fills you up and helps you maintain a healthy GI tract and lower your cholesterol.
Apples are low in calories. Apples are a great guilt-free snack. You can have apples with cheese or peanut butter for a little bit of protein. You can always just eat the refreshing, tasty apple by itself!
Apples are high in antioxidants. Antioxidants are important in fighting and preventing diseases, cancer and inflammation in the body.

So, what do I do with all of these apples?!

There are plenty of ways you can prepare or meal prep apples!

Here are some tasty ideas on what to do with all of those apples you picked!

Apple crisp. Apples baked with oats, brown sugar and cinnamon for a sweet dessert.
Overnight oats. You can make oatmeal hot or cold combined with pieces of apple, nuts and other fruit for a flavorful, nutrient-packed breakfast!
